The Sherry Unger Award

Every other month, we will feature a different noteworthy service-learning project on our homepage. The featured project will receive a $300 cash recognition award for use on future service-learning projects, and will be listed in our project idea archive for others to emulate!

Eligible projects must be Maryland K-12 public school curricular connected classroom projects, independent projects by a student or group of students, projects carried out by a club or organization, or projects submitted by a community based organization (CBO) that was carried out by youth.

To apply for this award, fill out an application form, which includes a publicity release form. There is one submission deadline annually: June 1
