In an effort to better serve Maryland's communities, the program formerly known as Connector Corps is now part of Volunteer Maryland, an AmeriCorps program. This combined effort will help school systems and community organizations coordinate both their service and volunteer programs. Volunteer Maryland members and their host organizations follow.

What is Americorps?
AmeriCorps is the national service movement that engages Americans of all ages and backgrounds in service to address the most critical problems in our nation's communities in the areas of education, public safety, the environment and other human needs. In exchange for service, Americorps members earn a living allowance and an education award to pay back student loans or to finance college, graduate school, or vocational training.
